Art

I am proud of my art because I have worked very very hard on the out lines for it and to blend the water colors in and some of the sea is different compered to other parts. With the blending at the bottom it was light and at the top it was dark to show the top and bottom of each hill.  I took lots of green colors and blended them in to make the grass look real and for the sea I blended blue,light blue, white and purple to make the sea.I love my art. I used my noticing musicals the hole time at art to notice were I could make changes to my art.

Writing

I am proud of my writing because I have put in allot of effort. I put in information and detail. I put a list so you know what you need and can make a mould experiment. Something that challenged me was putting the list together and putting the words in the right order. I had to use my perseverance muscles because it was tricky to get all the information in the right order so the person who makes it can follow them.

                         Procedural writing

WALT write instructions for the reader to follow

Success Criteria

Give an explanation about how the instructions will help you (introduction)

Write an equipment or ingredients list

Begin each instruction with a verb (an action word)

Use specific vocabulary

Order instructions so they are easy to follow

                        Emily and growing mould

Have you ever grown your own revolting fluffy mould? Well if you have not you need to make some now. But you need a towel or a cloth and you should put it around your mouth and nose when you are creating your mould because it could get you sick if you breathe it in.

 Some mould are good like penicillin and blue cheese. Tree mould dose an important job they

help the tree’s stay alive and food mould can make you sick if you breathe it in. Mould is like plants that grow on food. Mould color is brown,black and green some may be different. Blue vein  cheese is like penicillin and could help you stay alive. Making mould is fun but not easy but have fun making your mould.

                                              For testing moisture

Equipment:

• A sharpie
• 3 containers with lids
• 3 pieces of the same food
• 3 Labels
• 1 magnifying glass
• water

1. Put the labels on container (wet, moist, dry)
2. Place one piece of  food in each of the container
3. If you're doing wet you wet it a one piece of food and if you're doing moist you put your hand in the water and put the drips from your fingers. You leave the other one dry.
4. Click the lids tightly shut
5. Keep the containers somewhere safe  
6. Watch them carefully each  day
7. Grab a magnfing glass and look at it
8. Don’t put your mould up to your face

I am Poem

          I am proud of my I am poem. I put in lots of information about me and punctuation so the reader can enjoy it. I did my personal best. I really tried putting in the descriptive words so the reader learns about me.

Volleyball reflection

Volleyball Reflection

Something that challenge me was volleyball and getting the ball over the net to defend my team and are team's named Parkvale Rockers. We vs Mahora lots it was so fun.

 Mahora was quite hard but a little easy at lest we win sometimes we had to have our hand's in a W to holed the ball and put our hand's together to set the ball and hit it over the net. If they hit it back over the net and the ball touch's the ground they get a point and if we hit it back and it touches the ground we get a point.
I'm proud of hitting the ball the right way and not the opposite way because the first few times I hit it the opposite way.

I'm going to volleyball again because I want to get better.        

Camp Omatua

                                 

The mummies were so funny and amazing. We dressed them up with toilet paper. We got scared when it was Martins turn and he ripped his costume and was running and roaring                             and scaring people. I thought Mrs Ramsay was the funniest. After they did a funny dance they were throwing toilet paper.

We all made yum dinners and breakfasts.

          

The pool's were my favorite bit out of everything because everyone had fun and the slides were amazing.

Something that challenged me was eating in the fear factor because I didn't want to do it but I had to. Mrs H said it was insects a slimy slug and it was alive and it could crawl up my throat I believed it.

                                               

Everyone had fun on Camp Omatua. My favorite thing was the tubing in the river.

My name is Emily and I'm learning to managing my own self and doing my favorite book and putting in information.
